Use this Cosy Basic Socks Pattern by Debra Kinsey and 100g of any sock yarn to make a pair of adult sized socks. Hand made socks are wonderful for keeping warm in cooler weather and are amazingly comfortable. Your feet will thank you!

• Requires intermediate knitting skills.
• Socks are worked in the round using a set of double-pointed needles but you can also use a small circumference circular needle or a long circular needle for magic loop
• Begin knitting at the cuff (top-down method)
• The cuff, heel flap and toes can be worked in a contrasting colour.
• A slipped-stitch heel flap provides durability.

You will need:

• 4ply / sock weight yarn: main colour: 100g; contrast colour: 20g/80m (try one of our Fabulous Sock Minis)
• 2.25mm knitting needles - double pointed needles, small circumference 23cm knitting needles, or a long circular needle for magic loop
