Connie 791 is a longline round-neck cardigan with raglan sleeves and plenty of relaxed ease – the kind of throw-on layer you'll reach for again and again. It's mostly easy stocking stitch over a generous, swishy body, so it's a calm and satisfying knit with a soft drape to wear. Make it in a cool cotton for summer or a lightweight wool for transeasonal layering.

• Bellissimo Airlie – a 4ply mercerised cotton with a delicate sheen and crisp stitch definition. It drapes beautifully and stays cool and breathable – made for easy summer layers.
