Knit Quicker, Knit Smarter: Continental Knitting with Linda

Tired of slow rows, sore hands, or aching shoulders? Continental knitting might just be your new favourite technique! With the yarn held in your left hand, Continental style allows you to ‘pick’ your stitches in a smooth, efficient motion that’s both ergonomic and speedy.

In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, Linda will guide you through the foundations of Continental knitting—from holding your yarn and managing tension, to mastering knit and purl stitches the Continental way. You’ll practise combining your stitches into textures like ribbing and moss stitch, and get a taste of how this style makes lace, brioche, and two-handed colourwork feel effortless.
