Gidday Cardigan Kit

Knit a cosy, practical cardigan for the special little one in your life with the Gidday cardigan by Australian designer Georgie Nicholson. This superbly simple design is one of our go-to favourites for babies and children - soft, comfortable, and easy to get on without going over the head. Perfect for both boys and girls, it’s ideal for everyday wear and stays securely fastened with just a few buttons.

The cardigan is knitted top-down and seamlessly, with a garter yoke shaped by simple yarn over increases that can be worked as a decorative feature or closed. The body is knit flat and the sleeves are worked in the round.

We’ve put together this selection of colours in beautifully soft Fiddlesticks Peppin 8, a 100% pure merino wool yarn from Australia. This soft and bouncy yarn has a lovely twist and plenty of body, perfect for knitted or crocheted garments for babies and children. Machine washable.

Each kit contains 1 ball of contrast colour (shown on the left in the photographs) plus enough of the main colour to knit your cardigan.
