Why you'll love it

Saturday 3 April 2027, 1pm – 4pm

Learn Xandy’s favourite way to create big, bold holes in your knitting.

There are many ways to make large holes in your knitting – Xandy Peters’ least favourite is moths! The Trypophobia Shawl uses his favourite technique instead, combining some clever increases and decreases to create striking openwork motifs.

In this class you’ll learn how those increases and decreases work together, then cast on your own Trypophobia Shawl and work the first few pattern repeats with Xandy’s guidance – so you’ll go home confident to keep knitting.

In this class you’ll learn…

  • How to combine increases and decreases to form large openwork motifs
  • How to cast on and set up the Trypophobia Shawl
  • How to read and work the first pattern repeats
  • Tips for keeping track of your place in the pattern
Skills Needed
