Sunshine Coast Kit

Heidi Kirrmaier's Sunshine Coast is the kind of jumper you reach for all season – subtle eyelets, softly shaped side panels and a breezy A-line body. It's knitted seamlessly from the top down, so you can adjust the sleeve and body length as you go: three-quarter sleeves, or shorter ones for a lighter summer tee.

You can make Sunshine Coast in any of these yarns:

• Fiddlesticks Wren – 100% cotton in an 8ply/DK, soft and breathable, with a clean stitch definition that shows the eyelets off beautifully.
• Fibra Natura Papyrus – 78% Egyptian cotton with 22% silk. Soft, with enough structure to hold its shape and still give you a little drape, so it sits between Wren and Cedar.
• Fiddlesticks Cedar – a 60% bamboo, 40% cotton blend with a smooth twist and a gentle shine. It drapes a little more softly than Wren, so the A-line falls closer to the body.

All three are cool against the skin, so it really comes down to the drape you want. Wren and Cedar come in 50 g balls of 125 m; Papyrus is 50 g and 120 m, so it takes a ball or two more in most sizes – the size chart on each kit has the exact count. Not sure which way to go?
