Daffodil Road Yarn

Daffodil Road began in 2019 in Tasmania's Huon Valley – Sara at the dyepots, her husband Duncan alongside her and seven children in the house. In mid-2024 the whole lot moved north to Hervey Bay in Queensland, and that's where Sara dyes now, between walks on the beach.

It's still just Sara, by hand, in a small home studio. She sources natural fibres from Australia and further afield – merino, Blue Faced Leicester, silk, yak, baby camel and alpaca – and she spins as well as dyes.

Sara keeps her packaging and practices as sustainable as she can, and gives back through fundraisers and giveaways.
