Rosy Green Wool Yarn
GOTS certified organic merino from Rosy Green Wool – mulesing-free, beautifully soft and made in small European mills.

Wool that does good
Rosy grew up near the Swabian Alb in Germany, around her grandparents' small spinning mill, and her grandmother taught her everything she knew about knitting and wool. Years later she went looking for a soft, beautifully coloured merino that was guaranteed to be made without animal suffering – and couldn't find one. So in 2012 she and her husband Patrick started Rosy Green Wool.
Every yarn is 100% GOTS certified, from the organic farms in Patagonia right through the washing, spinning and dyeing. That means mulesing-free merino, no chemical sheep dips and fair conditions for everyone along the way. It's spun and dyed in small owner-run mills in Europe, dyed as loose skeins so it stays elastic, and every skein is twisted by hand.
In 2025 Pascuali took over the brand and carries on Rosy's vision – Paul Pascuali has been out to Patagonia to meet the shepherds himself. Along the way, Rosy Green Wool has given €80,000 to the Against Malaria Foundation and €65,000 to animal welfare charities.
