Uaine Candles
Soy candles hand-poured in the Hunter Valley all 100% soy wax and certified Australian Made, and scented with Australian native fragrance oils.

Locally made candles
UAINE is Gaelic – said 'oonyah' – and it means green, lush and verdant. It's the perfect name for a maker based in the Hunter Valley, with a real love for their patch of the world and the people in it.
Every candle is poured by hand in Morpeth, in 100% soy wax, in a little place looking out over the Hunter River – only metres from the town's original candle factory, which went up back in the 1850s. Morpeth was a busy river port then, and candles were being made on that bank long before anyone had heard of soy wax.
The candles are certified Australian Made, and the business is Australian owned and run. The folk who pour them are called chandlers and the shopfront is a Candle Cellar Door: wine-country talk, in wine country.
