Life in the Long Grass Linen Merino Singles is a light, high-quality, merino and linen single-ply fingering weight yarn, which is supersoft with a wonderful drape due to the linen content. This beautiful combination of fibres creates a luxurious yarn with a gorgeous bloom once blocked. The yarn takes colour softly and has a natural heathered look as the linen tends not to take the dye at the same depth as the merino. The darker colours tend to show heathering more than lighter due to the intensity of the colours. It's perfect for the most fabulous shawls, scarves and more.

The beauty of hand-dyed yarns is that each hank is a unique work of art, so please be aware that there can be a variation in colouring, hue and saturation, even within the same dye batch. We suggest using two skeins and alternating rows to ensure there is no obvious line when you change skeins. Dark colours may bleed with the first few washes. |

By: Rachel on 5 September 2022This yarn is absolutely gorgeous. Very dense and soft in the hand, and endlessly fascinating to knit. It makes beautiful fabric and feels as if it would adapt well to many different gauges. Currently knitting a comparatively dense fabric on 4mm needles and it feels amazing. Highly recommended.
