Looking for a better way to hold live stitches while you knit?

Magic Cords by Skein Sisters are a game changer. Made from soft, flexible silicone, they are quick to use and the Small size is perfect for needle sizes up to 6 mm. No more fiddling with waste yarn or bulky stitch holders.

Use them to hold stitches for sleeves, collars, pockets or shoulders, as a provisional cast-on, or to extend your cables while trying on your garment. The cords grip your needle securely and let your stitches glide on and off easily.

To use, push the end of the cord firmly onto your needle tip, then slide your stitches onto the cord. Once everything is in place, tie the ends of the cord together to hold them securely or use Locking Stitch Savers. When you're ready to knit again, untie the cord and reverse the process to return the stitches to your needle.

Each set includes four cords:

• 2 x 60cm
• 1 x 80cm
• 1 x 150cm

They come in a screw top aluminium tin with a clear lid, so you can see your cords at a glance. With a large range colours to choose from, there is a set to match every project or mood.
