ChiaoGoo TWIST Short Combo Packs make working on small-circumference projects much more comfortable. Designed for sleeves, socks, toys and other fiddly finishes, these compact interchangeable tips give you the flexibility to adapt your needles to the shape and size of your project.

Each pack includes one pair of 5cm and one pair of 8cm tips in the same size, plus two short cables to create circulars between 23cm and 31cm. This is ideal when your sleeve or sock needs a different length as it grows.

Made from surgical-grade stainless steel, the tips are strong, lightweight and long lasting and the joins are smooth and secure.

You can even be creative and have an 8cm tip on one side and a 5cm on the other! Or combine them with 10cm tips for even more flexibility.

  • TWIST Short Combo pack (Red): sizes 1.5mm-3.25mm. Tips are solid. Two MINI red cables
  • TWIST X-Flex Short Combo pack (Blue): sizes 3.5mm-5mm. The tips are hollow and the cables are blue x-flex cables, which are the same as the red cables just more flexible!

ChiaoGoo

ChiaoGoo means 'highly skillful and crafty lady'. She was the mother of the four brothers who founded the company – a knitter who kept a family of seven warm through long winters, sold what was left over to neighbours, and tested every needle the family made.

Her husband built a bamboo needle workshop in the early 1980s. His father before him travelled from town to town with a bamboo tool kit, making chairs, baskets, rice barrels and steamers. In 2005 the four sons incorporated it properly: made in Hangzhou, distributed from Troy, Michigan.

Two things they do that nobody else bothers with. Three different join diameters, because one join can't serve a 1.5mm needle and a 10mm one equally well. And the honey colour on the bamboo isn't stain or varnish – it's heat.
