Colour Drift Shawl Kit in Fabulous Sock

Colour Drift by Jacqui Verbeek is a large, asymmetrical shawl and it's a simple, fun and relaxing knit. It’s the perfect companion for TV knitting, travel knitting or for when you just need a palate cleanse after a difficult project!

Choose one of our kits of three skeins of beautiful Skein Sisters Fabulous Sock and let them do all the work as they drift in and out of each knitted section, creating blocks of colour, swirling stripes and interesting textures. While it’s a simple and easy knit; the colour and pattern changes keep it interesting and you’ll be finished before you know it!

Colour Drift is a great shawl for all skill levels. If you’re a beginner, there's info included in the pattern on what to do if you make a mistake or if things aren’t looking “right”. If you’re an experienced knitter, you will find this a breeze.

Some of the techniques used are: iCord tab cast on; iCord bind off; YO eyelets; and a very basic brioche-style stitch that avoids purling.
