Why you'll love it

Ready to take your Tunisian crochet beyond the basics? Join Abbey for a relaxed, technique-focused workshop where you’ll explore the wonderful variety of stitches that make Tunisian crochet so unique. If you’ve mastered the foundation row and Tunisian Simple Stitch and are wondering what comes next, this class is the perfect place to continue your journey.

Together, you’ll revisit the anatomy of Tunisian crochet and discover how changing the point where you insert your hook can completely transform the texture, drape and appearance of your fabric. You’ll learn a collection of the most commonly used Tunisian crochet stitches, experiment with combining them in different ways, and master the stitches for your next project. If there’s a particular stitch you’ve been eager to learn, bring your request along and Abbey will include it where time allows.

In this class you’ll learn…

  • A refresher on the anatomy of Tunisian crochet stitches
  • How different hook insertion points affect stitch definition, texture and drape
  • A selection of the most commonly used Tunisian crochet stitches
  • How to combine stitches in different ways to create beautiful textured fabrics
  • How to choose stitches that suit different projects and fabric styles
  • Practical troubleshooting tips to improve your technique and confidence
  • Requested Tunisian crochet stitches, where time allows

By the end of this class you’ll…
