K3057 Mitred Square Pram Coverlet & Snuggle Doll in Duna 4ply Pattern

A pram coverlet built from mitred squares, with a small knitted doll to tuck in besideit. Seven beautiful shades of Amano Duna are combined here, from mushroom and dusky pink through tomoss green and bright blue.

Because the squares are knitted onto one another as you go, the blanket grows in one piece andthere is very little to sew up at the end. The doll is worked separately on smaller needles, usingwhat is left over once the blanket is done.

Amano Duna is a 4ply blend of 60% organic cotton and 40% alpaca. The cotton gives it structure, so the fabric keeps its shape instead of going limp, and the alpaca brings the softness and the drape.

Blanket 80 x 90cm. Doll 25cm tall.

• Knitting needles 3.25mm straights and an 80cm circular
• Knitting needles 2.25mm double pointed, or a long circular for magic loop
• Stitch markers
• Toy stuffing
• A little black thread to embroider the doll's eyes
