The SSP Shawl is worked flat and sideways, with increases along one edge to create an asymmetrical triangle. Slip stitch patterns flow into wide 1x1 ribbing, with a neat slip stitch edge for a polished finish. Mosaic colourwork (slip stitch colourwork) means you only ever knit with one colour per row, making this an excellent introduction to colourwork techniques. The result is a sophisticated yet casual shawl that’s a joy to knit and wear.

As a hand-dyed yarn, each skein is unique. While we take great care to ensure consistency across dyelots, we recommend alternating skeins when working on larger projects.

Skein Sisters Yarns are hand-dyed in Dulwich Hill in Sydney, Australia on the country of the Bedigal, Wangal and Kameygal people of the Eora Nation.
