K3072 Child's Jacket & Hat in Possum Fusion 4ply Pattern

A garter stitch jacket with a soft collar and a matching hat, in six sizes from newbornup to four years. The jacket is worked in one piece from the lower back edge, with the sleeves caston as you go.

It is garter stitch the whole way through - no chart, nothing to keep track of beyond theshaping. Everything is knitted flat, so straight needles are all you need: the jacket is seamed, andthe hat has a seam up the back.

New Zealand Possum Fusion 4ply is a blend of merino, possum and viscose. Possum fibre is hollow, so it holds warmth without weight - which is exactly what you want for something a small person has to agree to wear.

Six sizes, to fit newborn, 3 months, 6-9 months, 12-18 months, 2-3 years and 3-4 years(chest 36-61cm). Tension 26 stitches to 10cm over garter stitch on 3.25mm needles.
