Easy Jacket Pattern 1539

This Easy Jacket knitting pattern is for a snuggly baby cardigan, sized from 3 to 12 months. It will knit up quickly using DK weight / 8ply yarn on 4mm knitting needles.

Use this Easy Jacket Pattern and a soft DK weight / 8ply yarn to knit this lovely little cardigan for baby. Knitted in garter stitch for a simple yet snuggly baby garment.

Choose from washable wool based yarns like Bellissimo 8 or Peppin 8 for winter, or for warmer weather try it in DK cotton Fiddlesticks Wren or wool-cotton blend Bellissimo Lucca.

• The jacket is knitted flat in garter stitch and seamed.

Gauge: 21 sts to 10cm and 44 rows on garter stitch, using 4mm needles. If you have fewer stitches in 10cm use smaller needles. If you have more stitches in 10cm use larger needles.
