Ranunculus Sweater Yarn Kit in Romance

The Ranunculus Sweater by Midori Hirose is one of the prettiest and most versatile designs. With over 23,000 projects on Ravelry, it's been in the top 10 designs since it was released and with good reason as once you make one, you'll make another and another!

Ranunculus is a top-down round yoke pullover with lace and textured stitches. It is knit on large needles, which gives it beautiful drape, and you can also use any yarn you like from laceweight to 10ply/worsted weight in wool, linen, silk, cotton and more. 

There are loads of ways to customise the jumper, and we love a winter version made with a fingering weight yarn held with a fluffy laceweight yarn such as a mohair or alpaca. You can choose from smaller or wider neckline, and short sleeves or long puff sleeves with/without diagonal cuff line. Choose whatever length you prefer + there's HEAPS of videos to help you with all the techniques.

You can put together all sorts of wonderful colour combinations, but if choosing colours isn't your strength then we've made it easy for you and put together a whole range of combos using our Skein Sisters Romance and Sesia Oliver alpaca.
