Zig Zag Baby Blanket Pattern 1542

This Zig Zag knitting pattern is for a snuggly baby or toddler blanket. Knitted in DK weight / 8ply wool or alpaca yarn.

Choose from washable wool based yarns like Bellissimo 8 or  Peppin 8, or for warmer weather knit the blanket in 100% cotton Wren, or cotton/bamboo Cedar.

• The blanket is knitted in stocking stitch with a scallop design formed from increases and decreases, and garter edges.

Gauge: 24 stitches to 10cm in pattern using 4.5mm needles. If you have fewer stitches use smaller needles; if you have more stitches use larger needles.

What you need to make the blanket:

• DK weight / 8ply yarn, 50g balls
• 4.5mm knitting needles. Needles can be your choice of straights or circulars.
• Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
