Spinning Yarns Weaving Tales

Jo of Spinning Yarns Weaving Tales in Victoria, Australia has been involved in textiles from early childhood. She studied textiles in the late 70s at Melbourne College of Textiles and then opened her own Art & Craft shop and Gallery at the ripe old age of 18… natural dyeing, spinning, knitting, knitwear design and weaving were her life. However, it was all put on hold when the babies came along and a new life took over.

Finally, in 2010 the opportunity came to get back to what she missed… textiles, particularly weaving & knitting.

After finding there was a very limited range of interesting, natural weaving yarns combined with her 10 years of procurement and shipping experience, Spinning Yarns Weaving Tales was born.

It was inevitable that knitting yarns would soon follow when the right yarns presented themselves.
