Beginner Tunisian Crochet: Mesa Hat
Join renowned designer Toni Lipsey for a focused, project-based workshop and create a beautifully textured hat.
The Mesa Hat is a standout design that showcases the rich texture and modern appeal of Tunisian crochet. In this class, Toni will guide you through the techniques that bring this piece to life – from fundamental stitches, basic colourwork and simple shaping to achieving a polished, professional finish.
Along the way, you’ll deepen your understanding of how Tunisian stitches work in the round (or in-the-round construction techniques), how texture can be used to elevate a simple accessory, and how small details make a big impact in your finished projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn directly from Toni as she shares her tips, tricks, and design insights – the kind of knowledge that transforms your making from “pretty good” to truly exceptional.
Perfect for beginners and beyond, this workshop will leave you not only with a gorgeous, wearable hat, but with new skills and confidence to tackle future Tunisian projects with ease.
Come ready to learn, create, and walk away with something you’ll reach for all winter long.
