Right now in the fabulous fibre world there are some pretty amazing independent dyers doing some pretty amazing work.
At Skein Sisters we love to support our indie dyers and showcase their beautiful, hand-dyed, one-of-a-kind yarns. So each month we're going to shine the Sisters' Spotlight on one of these immensely talented dyers and provide a dedicated space in our bricks-and-mortar shop to show off their beautiful work.
How Sisters Spotlight works...
In store: Sisters Spotlight kicks off the first Saturday of each month in the shop in Dulwich Hill at 10am - so be sure to come early if you don't want to miss out! There'll also be opportunities to meet the dyers or artisans, special events, etc ... all in the name of sharing some of their magic with our lovely customers.
Online: Sisters Spotlight collections will become available to purchase on the website from 5.30pm on the first Saturday of the month. But we will have a preview available so that you can start planning your projects.
This is a rare opportunity to find some beautiful, hand-dyed yarns and accessories by some wonderfully talented artisans AND support our indie dyers on their fibre journey. So mark the first Saturday of each month in your diary and stay tuned!
First up for 2020 is Jennifer Goodwin of Henley Hand Dyed. Using superfine merino bases from local farms Millpost Merino and Bellevue Park, Jen's collection will be on sale from Saturday 7 March until the end of the month.
See you instore soon!
