CaMaRose is a Danish, woman-owned yarn brand founded by Trine Meulengracht, who creates ethically sourced and produced natural yarns. Trine works closely with spinning mills to ensure her yarns are of the highest quality and as ethical and sustainable as possible with a focus on animal welfare.
Trine began designing in 2007, working for magazines in Denmark and Norway. In 2010 she launched CaMaRose to produce her beautiful yarns. CaMaRose is an amalgam of Trine's children's names - Carl-Emil, Mathilde, and Anna-Rose.
CaMaRose yarns are mulesing free, and ethically and sustainably produced.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.
