Together, you’ll revisit the anatomy of Tunisian crochet and discover how changing the point where you insert your hook can completely transform the texture, drape and appearance of your fabric. You’ll learn a collection of the most commonly used Tunisian crochet stitches, experiment with combining them in different ways, and master the stitches for your next project. If there’s a particular stitch you’ve been eager to learn, bring your request along and Abbey will include it where time allows.

What to bring
- Any Tunisian crochet hook with an appropriate yarn
- For the best learning experience, we recommend DK/8ply or worsted/10ply yarn with a 6mm Tunisian hook or larger
About your teacher: Abbey from Abbeymade

Abbeymade (Abbey) is a one woman Tunisian crochet designer living on Dharawal country in Sydney, Australia.
Abbeymade’s patterns are inclusive for size, gender and right and left-handed makers. All patterns are vigorously tested by makers of all creeds from around the world. Abbey works full time (this is a side hustle), is married to hook maker extraordinaire, Haemish @catch_hooks, and has a daughter and a beautiful border collie.

Full payment is required prior to the start of the class to confirm your spot.
Minimum numbers - All classes require a minimum of two people in order to go ahead and, depending on the class, a maximum of 6. If your class or workshop does not have the minimum number of students, the class will be postponed and you will be notified within three days of the class date if it has been cancelled or changed.
We cannot be held liable for travel or any other costs in the event of a cancellation.
If your class is postponed or cancelled you can use the amount paid to transfer to another event/activity, use it as a store credit, or be issued a full refund.
Cancelling a class
Up to 7 days before the class - you are able to cancel, postpone or swap a class up to 7 days prior to the class date and can receive a full refund.
7 days-24 hours before the class - we are able to offer a credit but we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your spot.
Less than 24 hours before the class - no credit or refund available.
