Tunisian Crochet for Absolute Beginners with Toni Lipsey
Tuesday 23 June, 4pm - 6pm
Tunisian Crochet for Absolute Beginners.
Curious about Tunisian crochet? Often described as the perfect blend of knitting and crochet, this unique technique creates beautifully textured fabric using a single hook. It’s rhythmic, satisfying, and just a little bit addictive.
In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class, Toni will guide you step-by-step through the foundations of Tunisian crochet. You’ll learn essential stitches, how to handle Tunisian hooks, and the techniques that set this craft apart – all with Toni’s signature clear, encouraging teaching style.
By the end of the session, you’ll have started (and possibly even finished!) your very first project – the Geo Potholder, an exclusive design from Toni’s book The Tunisian Crochet Handbook. It’s the perfect introduction piece and a great confidence booster to take your new skills further.
Whether you’re a crocheter, knitter, or completely new to yarn crafts, this class is a beautiful entry point into something fresh and inspiring.
Come for the learning, stay for the joy of making – and leave with a new obsession.
