Ready to go beyond the basics? Join celebrated designer and teacher Toni Lipsey for an inspiring deep dive into the creative possibilities of Tunisian crochet.
In this exploration-focused workshop, you’ll expand your stitch vocabulary and discover just how versatile Tunisian crochet can be. Toni will guide you through 4 unique and beautiful stitches - all designed to build confidence and spark creativity. You'll master close textures, lacey patterns, and beginner colourwork.
Combine thos stitchers with joining and finishing texhniques for a beautiful and unique sampler blanket. Expect plenty of “aha” moments, hands-on practice, and Toni’s warm, encouraging teaching style throughout.
Perfect for those who already have a foundation in Tunisian crochet and are ready to explore further.
Important Class Information:
Skill level: Easy - understanding of Tunisian crochet foundation row and simple stitch required.
Class Duration: 2 hours
You will need to bring:
- 6.5mm Tunisian crochet hook (or regular crochet hook with a straight shaft ie. not with a comfort grip)
- worsted weight cotton yarn eg. Fiddlesticks Finch in 3 colours (approximately 150 grams total),
- All the crochet essentials including: scissors, tapestry needle, tape measure, and locking stitch markers

Since turning her crochet passion into a career nearly a decade ago, Toni has built a catalogue of crafty knowledge that includes hundreds of beginner-friendly patterns and easy-to-follow tutorials. She draws her inspiration from the diesire to immerse herself in a cosy life bursting with colour. Her current obsessions are temperature blankets, Tunisian crochet, and anything granny squares. Terms and conditions
- Full payment is required prior to the start of the class to confirm your spot.
- Minimum numbers - All classes require a minimum of three people in order to go ahead and, depending on the class, a maximum of up to 10. If your class or workshop does not have the minimum number of students, the class will be postponed and you will be notified within three days of the class date if it has been cancelled or changed. We cannot be held liable for travel or any other costs in the event of a cancellation.
- If your class is postponed or cancelled you can use the amount paid to transfer to another event/activity, use as a store credit, or be issued a full refund.
Cancelling a class
- Up to 7 days before the class - you are able to cancel, postpone or swap a class up to 7 days prior to the class date and can receive a full refund.
- 7 days-24 hours before the class - we are able to offer a credit but we cannot guarantee a full refund unless another booking fills your spot.
- Less than 24 hours before the class - no credit or refund available.
