Knit Quicker, Knit Smarter: Continental Knitting with Linda
Tired of slow rows, sore hands, or aching shoulders? Continental knitting might just be your new favourite technique! With the yarn held in your left hand, Continental style allows you to ‘pick’ your stitches in a smooth, efficient motion that’s both ergonomic and speedy.

You’ll practise combining your stitches into textures like ribbing and moss stitch, and get a taste of how this style makes lace, brioche, and two-handed colourwork feel effortless.

Knitting, crochet, embroidery and sewing where all a part of her life from a young age. After a break from crafting Linda came back to it, and knitting in particular, with a vengeance! Shawls, jumpers, cardigans, socks, colourwork, lace, cables, accessories - she wants and does knit all the things! Linda enjoys helping many knitters and crocheters decipher tricky patterns and learn new techniques at our regular Help Clinic.
